The addition of the Park Hyatt resort hotel and its 11 restaurants, lounges & bars, shopping, onsen, swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, fitness centre & ski valet service has transformed the Hanazono base into a luxury ski destination.
Visitors seeking a ski village experience can take advantage of the free shuttle bus service connecting Hanazono with neighboring Hirafu or can head into Kutchan town to enjoy authentic local dining.
Hanazono is tailor made for families with ski school, ski hire, winter adventure park, Galazy of Kidz soft play and snow mobile tours to keep the kids occupied.
Where is Hanazono?
Hanazono is located between Hirafu and Kutchan Town and sits at the base of the Hanazono ski resort.
New Chitose Airport (CTS) is the closest airport and can be reached in 2.5 to 3 hours by road. Kutchan is the closest town at 10 minutes’ drive and Sapporo is the closest major city at 2 hours’ drive.
Niseko United Ski Resort
The Niseko United Ski Area is comprised of the four connected ski areas of Hanazono, Hirafu, Niseko Village and Annupuri. It is the largest single ski resort area in Japan.
There is enough terrain to keep everyone happy from mellow piste runs, steeper pistes, tree runs, sidecountry off piste and full backcountry terrain.
