Where is Niseko Village?
Formerly known as ‘Higashiyama’ meaning East Mountain, Niseko Village is located between Hirafu and Annupuri villages and sits at the base of the Niseko Village ski resort.
New Chitose Airport (CTS) is the closest airport and can be reached in 2.5 to 3 hours by road. Kutchan is the closest town at 25 minutes’ drive and Sapporo is the closest major city at 2 hours’ drive.

Niseko United Ski Resort
The Niseko United Ski Area is comprised of the four connected ski areas of Hanazono, Hirafu, Niseko Village and Annupuri. It is the largest single ski resort area in Japan.
There is enough terrain to keep everyone happy from mellow piste runs, steeper pistes, tree runs, sidecountry off piste and full backcountry terrain.
Accommodation
Niseko Village features three ski in / ski out resort hotels, each in a distinct location, surrounded by nature and serviced by a different ski lift as well as self-contained accommodation options located close to The Green Leaf Hotel.
Moving away from the ski lifts, there are even more self-contained townhouses and chalets with Shakuzen Chalets and Yukihyo being the ultimate off-the-beaten-track forest retreats.
Getting to Niseko
Whether you are coming from Tokyo, New Chitose Airport, Sapporo City, Otaru City or one of the other Hokkaido Ski Resorts, there are numerous options for the transfer to Niseko.
Onsen Hot Springs
Retreat to the sanctuary of healing at one of Niseko Village's two natural onsen at The Green Leaf Hotel and Hilton Niseko Village.
Both feature indoor bathing as well as classic Rotenburo outdoor rock pools.

'The Village', located between The Hilton and the Ritz Carlton, is a pretty collection of boutique restaurants and shops designed in classic Machiya style.
Located in the Higashiyama Pension Village, the local Takahashi farm operates a shop called Milk Kobo serving unbelievably good ice cream, yoghurt drinks and choux buns as well as supplying dairy ingredients for its own on-site pizza and buffet restaurants.

Inspired by traditional Japanese machiya architecture, 'The Village' is Niseko Village's main pulse where paved intimate walkways are flanked by contemporary shopping and dining.
